our CEO story

My name is Shara Kamal and I am the CEO founder of Butterfli Cosmetics.

 

My interest in makeup started at the age of 13, where I would secretly take my mums makeup and try it on in my room.

Growing up I never had an interest in girly things as I was brought up with two brothers who I spent most of my time with.

I started watching Youtube video and self taught myself to do basic makeup. My passion for makeup started to gradually get bigger. My friends in school would always complement and ask me what I had used on my face. At the age of 16, I built the courage to start my own Youtube channel. Now in the present I have been able to gain more confidence within myself, and because of my channel I was able to learn more makeup skills. Through this experience I have been able to do makeup for so many clients all around the world, work with famous singers, and be interviewed for different magazines and article online.

My idea to start my own makeup brand was in 2017 but due to still being a young student I wasn't able to afford it. I can now say that my dream is finally coming to life.
